AUNT MOLLY GROUND CHERRY TOMATO Polish heirloom variety has an unusually fine flavor—very sweet with a nice hint of tartness. 1/2-3/4-inch fruit is enclosed in a papery husk which drops to the ground when fully ripe. High pectin content makes this one an excellent choice for pies and preserves. Upright bushy growth habit, grows well in pots. 65 days. BARRY’S CRAZY CHERRY TOMATO Pale yellow cherries are delicious, and grow on some of the largest clusters known! Sweet fruit is oval, each with a tiny “beak” at the blossom end. SUNRISE BUMBLEE BEE CHERRY TOMATO The sweetest tasting of this series, Sunrise Bumble Bee has orange skin streaked with pink and gold for incredible visual appeal. Indeterminant, needs support, does well in a 5-gallon (or larger) container!
APPLE YELLOW CHERRY TOMATO Adorable, bright yellow tomato with incredible split tolerance, yields, and shelf life. Plants are easy to grow, easy to harvest, and offer decent disease resistance. Avg. 20–25 gm. fruits have great, balanced flavor—a rare find in a yellow tomato. Indeterminate.

INDIGO CHERRY DROPS CHERRY TOMATO Indigo Cherry Drops has the same striking, dark blue anthocyanin coloration and red flesh, but the plant habit is much improved, it is a vigorous indeterminate. Yield and flavor are much improved, with larger clusters of 1–2 oz. fruit.

CHEROKEE PURPLE TOMATO Wow, this one’s got flavour! These large, dusky-pink tomatoes have a sweet, smoky taste. Not a tomato to grow for bushels of fruit, but a delicious heirloom treat. BLACK KRIM TOMATO This is by far the best black tomato we have grown. Rich, sweet complex taste with a hint of saltiness. These beefsteak type tomatoes are mahogany coloured with green shoulders. TASMANIAN CHOCOLATE TOMATO Dwarf Tasmanian Chocolate Tomatoes are a real treat! A beautifully balanced tomato, not too sweet or acidic, with exceptional buttery texture. This dwarf indeterminate variety grows only 3 feet tall, is non-vining and will produce multiple crops. Plants are consistently healthy, loaded with beefsteak fruit that are rarely cracked. Dwarf Tasmanian Chocolate Tomatoes transform to a lovely burgundy colour when ripe. 65 days.
BEAVERLODGE TOMATO Bred at the Beaverlodge Research Center in Alberta Canada. One of the earliest maturing tomato varieties. Short, compact, determinate, plants that are loaded with 2″, smooth, red, round tomatoes that contain rich and well balanced flavors. A surprisingly big flavor for such an early tomato. This is a perfect tomato variety for growing in a hanging basket or in a patio container. 54 days.
CANDYCANE SWEET PEPPER This is a fantastic little pepper! The perfect snack size and tasty to eat at all stages of ripeness. These little beauties ripen from green and white stripes to solid red. 65 days.
REDSKIN SWEET PEPPER Compact bushy plant absolutely loaded with peppers. One of the earliest peppers to turn red. Plant has a cascading habit that makes it perfect for pots, containers, or small gardens. 60 days.
ORANGE SWEET PEPPER Orange Blaze is the first pepper to show its colour in our garden year after year. Medium-sized and slightly tapered bells ripen from dark green to brilliant orange. 65 days.
YELLOW SWEET PEPPER Mecate yellow pepper has a beautifully smooth medium-large blocky shape. Turns green to vibrant yellow with no orange. 75 days.
RED SWEET PEPPER Red Bell Pepper Plant (king of the north) These extra-large peppers are high in quality and yield. Good flavour, thick-walled with a crisp juicy texture. Ripens earlier than most bell peppers, making it a good choice for our Ontario climate! from green to dark red. 70 days.
MARKETMORE CUCUMBER Slender, dark green slicing cucumber. Productive plants produce all season long even under stress from poor weather. Medium resistance to scab, tolerant to cucumber mosaic virus, downy mildew and powdery mildew. Heirloom Veg.
STRAIGHT EIGHT CUCUMBER Delicious slicing cucumber. Very long with thin dark skin. The best tasting, fresh eating cucumber we’ve tried. High yields. 45 days.
LEMON CUCUMBER Pale yellow, little round balls of cucumbery crunchiness. This Heirloom cucumber has been around since the late 1800s and has a loyal following. Vigorous vines produce buckets of little round 6-9 cm cucumbers that start out lime green then turn pale yellow and finally dark golden-yellow. We think they are best at the pale yellow stage when the skin is still thin. The taste is a little milder than most cukes with no bitterness and boy are they crunchy. Nothing lemony about the taste, just the look. 68 days.
MEXICAN SOUR GHERKIN Also known as Mouse Melon, these adorable little fruits look like mini watermelons and taste like a tangy, lemony cucumber. Younger fruit tastes most like cucumber and as they age they acquire a pleasant sour flavour. We like to grow the delicate-looking vines in containers with support netting to grow up into, sheltered from harsh wind. We have tried them in the fields and they will flourish there too! 78 days.
PATIO STAR CUCUMBER An early to mature hybrid, high yielding with delicious flavour. With a vigorous semi-dwarf growth habit these are the perfect cucumbers for containers and small space gardens. 63 days.
SUPREMO PICKLING CUCUMBER This high-yielding pickler produces 3–4 1/2″, dark green fruits with the classic blocky shape. Consistent in quality, the fruits have good flavor and the firm texture needed to make great pickles.
SUGAR SMALL PUMPKIN Small Sugar pumpkin is one of the best pie varieties we’ve tried. It has a rich orange flesh packed full of flavour. At about 7” in diameter it’s still a useful display or small jack-o-lantern pumpkin. 100 days. Heirloom Veg.
GREEN ZUCCHINI Dark Green zucchini is the most popular and versatile squash. This cylindrical fruit 15–18 cm (6-7″) in length is very easy to grow. The creamy white flesh is firm, flavorful, and terrific for baking nutritious cakes, breads, or muffins. Also great raw and sautéed. Even the flowers are edible!
YELLOW ZUCCHINI This delicious yellow zucchini, Golden Delight Hybrid, is early to ripen, has high yields and excellent disease resistance. 48 days.
HONEYNUT SQUASH This little personal-sized squash is packed full of flavour. Resistant to powdery mildew, and a good producer. It’s also an excellent storage squash. Go from dark green to dark tan when ripe. 100-110 days. Heirloom Veg.
BUTTERNUT SQUASH Waltham Butternut is a popular winter squash variety. It’s uniform and productive. Medium-large, 12”, blocky pearshaped squash have tan-yellow skin. Dark orange flesh with fine flavour. Stores well. 95 days.
MINI WATERMELON Mini Love is a personal sized watermelon that’s early to mature and delicious. A bright red interior that is sweet and crisp. 70 days.
MINI MUSKMELON This little gem, Sugar Cube, is a must try! Melt in your mouth sweetness, packed full of flavour. Matures to approximate cannon ball size. This hardy plant has good disease resistance, unlike most melons. 80 days.
SUGAR SPRINT PEA Bushy compact plant that produces deliciously sweet peas on 3” pods. Nice early Pea with good yields, and high disease resistance. (26” height). 62 days.
